Amity Community Services have been supporting Territorians with AOD and/or gambling concerns for over 40 years.
In addition to our free and confidential counselling services, we also offer group education sessions on volatile substances and harms associated with gaming and gambling. These sessions can be tailored to staff, secondary students, or clients, and can be delivered in-person or online. Check out our education sessions below.

Red Flag Behaviours for venue staff – 60-90 minutes
The training covers the following topics:
- Recognising and responding to gambling red flag behaviours in patrons
- Build confidence and skills in responding to patrons showing signs of red flag behaviour
- Learn about the support options available for patrons experiencing harm from gambling
School Gaming Education Session – Year 8+ – 60 minutes

Online Training – Let’s Talk: Conducting Brief Interventions using a Motivational Interviewing Approach
Amity has developed a free online training course for professionals working in the alcohol and other drug sector.
