Northern Territory Training Project:
Hepatitis C, Injecting Drug Use and Needle & Syringe Programs

Amity Community Services was funded by the Australian Commonwealth through the Northern Territory Department of Health & Community Services to undertake training workshops for service providers on hepatitis C (HCV), injecting drug use (IDU) & needle and syringe programs (NSP). We conducted workshops across the Territory to ensure that service providers were up-to-date with the latest information on HCV, IDU and NSP.
The project was concluded in June 2003.

The NT Aids and Hepatitis Council is conducting further work in this area and can be contacted on http://www.ntac.org.au
